Q: How do you rush to a location without dying? A: Henchies
So I'm not sure if other people use similar techniques, but I find this works well. When I need to get to a location that is out in the middle of nowhere (i.e. Serenity Temple or Grendich Courthouse), and I don't really want to spend the time fighting my way there, I stock up on Henchies and hit the ground running.
With my Warrior it's easy, he just Sprints until he gets where he's going. With my Monk, I have to stock up on enchantments, but it's still doable without the B.O.S. skill.
It usually goes like this:
Stefan is the first to fall. He takes the first group of Monsters out of comish nicely.
Reyna, fairly adept at staying out of the fray gets 'distracted' by Stefans battle, but usually comes following along.
Alesia stays on my tail after only a brief hesitation.
Next group of monsters start to follow me, get aggro'd to both ladies pulling up the rear and peel off to fight with them. Once Reyna's engaged, Alesia comes a-following.
Next group starts to Tango with Alesia as soon as she catches up and that puts me with no Henchies left. From this point, my heal and run skills can carry me to the next portal - at which point all Henchies are revived and the journey starts again.
So far, I've not had a problem just running my way to missed areas. Occassionally I get in too thick, but mostly I just shrug off Monsters and heal in pockets where they've decided not to follow.
Does anyone else do this? Or am I just odd in not wanting to fight my way to places with each new character?
PS: I know I can get this with help of a higher lvl player who can team up and portal me over when he gets to the location, but I do prefer self-reliance in these types of tasks since it's so boring for the friend.
